We’ve posted a tentative 2020 Miami Marlins spring schedule, as the team prepares for training camp at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Florida.
You can view the tentative schedule here.
The schedule includes 19 games at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, 15 home games, and four as the visitor against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to the Player Development Complex in Jupiter on February 12, while the first full-squad workout is scheduled for Feb. 17.
The Marlins will open their 18th Grapefruit League season in Jupiter with a road game at the New York Mets on Feb. 22. It will be the first time that Miami has not opened its Grapefruit League slate in Jupiter since 2006 at Baltimore. Miami’s first home game will be on Feb. 23 against the Washington Nationals, marking the first time since 2008 (also vs. Nationals) that the Marlins’ first spring game at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is not against the Cardinals. Miami and St. Louis will renew their Jupiter rivalry on Feb. 24, a home game for the Marlins.
Miami has a total of 31 games on the 2020 Grapefruit League slate. They play home games against the Nationals (four times), Cardinals (three times), Mets (three times), Astros (three times), Orioles (March 4, split squad for Miami), and Yankees (March 11). Miami will play 28 of its 31 games along the I-95 corridor in the West Palm Beach area. They are playing the Orioles for the first time since 2010, and will not face the Braves for the first time since 2008.
