We’ve posted a Seattle Mariners 2019 spring schedule, as the team prepares for another training camp at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, Arizona.
You can view the schedule here.
The Seattle Mariners 2019 spring schedule is unusual in that the team will spend a good chunk of it facing the Oakland Athletics in Tokyo for a regular-season opening series. The Mariners will play 21 games in Arizona, including 12 home games in Peoria, before leaving for Japan.
On Thursday, March 14, the Mariners travel across the Pacific for two exhibition contests against Nippon Professional Baseball teams (tentatively set for March 17-18) and the two-game 2019 MLB Opening Series against the Athletics March 20 and 21.
While the Mariners are in Japan, a squad made up of players in Mariners Major League camp who are not part of the Japan travelling party, including top prospects, will remain in Arizona for a game against the Cubs at Sloan Park in Mesa on March 19, and two games at Peoria against the Cincinnati Reds (March 21) and the Los Angeles Angels (March 22).
The Mariners return from Japan directly to Seattle for two exhibition games on Monday and Tuesday, March 25-26, against the San Diego Padres, before the regular season Opening Night on Thursday, March 28, against the Boston Red Sox.
No other spring-training information, including when tickets officially go on sale and when players report, was released.
