When a Web site asks for your
personal information, it is only right that the
site tell you how the information is being used. That's the
rationale behind this Privacy Policy, which lets you know how
your personal information is processed and used.
Data is being collected in two ways on this site. One way is
by the standard logging of IP addresses and domain names via
the Web server, which is hosted and maintained by a third
party. This information is stored in standard logfiles, but
this information is used only to examine traffic in total;
i.e., see how many page views and visitors visit the site in a
given amount of time. (This logging is not unique to
Spring Training Online: virtually every Web site logs such information
in standard logfiles.) This information will not be shared
with third parties unless it is necessary to cooperate with
law enforcement.
When you answer a survey question or submit other information
to Spring Training Online, you're asked for personal
information: name, address, and email address. You may ask why
a phone number and address are necessary: they are being used
to eliminate redundant registrations and to notify you if
you've won a contest. The registration information may be used
to send notification to you of other Spring Training Online announcements as well. The information may be released to the
public in aggregate form, without any personal information
that could identify an individual user. Your contact
information will not be sold, rented, or given to a third
party without your consent.
Any change in this policy will be prominently displayed on the
front page of Spring Training Online.
